Today I am thankful for people that just have a genuinely "good" heart! Now, my husband would be making fun of me for saying that because it is obviously not really their heart, that pumps the blood I am referring to. But for the "majority" of the world, I think they would understand what I am saying (and not take it literally). :-)
I sometimes really appreciate the simple things. I think you can so quickly (well often) tell when someone is just legitimately a good person.......someone with a good heart. "My heart" feels happy when I come into contact with these people....even if it is just in a quick and casual conversation, in an advising appointment.....or you just overhear a conversation. I am thankful that our world has these kinds of people in it!
There are many other qualities that I appreciate in people. I appreciate those that are "real", those that are "open", and those that enjoy connecting. But today I was just reminded of how much I also appreciate a person that has a good heart.
Okay.....just a short and sweet post of thankfulness today!!
